Available Benefits
There are two main types of benefits available under Social Security:
- Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) - You must meet both non-medical and medical criteria to quality for SSDI. This program is funded by workers and their employers paying in through their pay check.
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI) - SSI is funded by general tax revenues and is designed to help people who have little or no income to help provide for basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter. The amount of benefits under this program are dependent upon the income and assets of the person.

After the reasons have been identified, I will either help you get the necessary medical options to support your claim or work with the treating physician to correct medical information in your file. Once everything is in order I will file your appeal and advise you of what may take place at the administrative hearing before a judge.
