New Jersey Veterans Disability Appeal Lawyer
I work with veterans from all over the United States who are seeking assistance with disability benefits from the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), guiding them through the appeals process so that they are not alone. I have experience working with veterans from World War II, the Vietnam War, and those who have been in service in the last 10 years. Because of how the system is structured, I can represent veterans without ever meeting in-person, working via the telephone to gather all the necessary information. If you are seeking a lawyer to help you with VA disability benefits, please contact my law office or call 856-468-3000 to schedule a free initial consultation.
NOVA Accredited Attorney
There is currently an extensive backlog of applications for disability benefits with the VA. Often a veteran must wait six months before an initial decision is made on their application for VA benefits. I help my clients to file appeals to the VA administration. I can also take the case to federal court if necessary. I am a member of National Organization of Veteran's Advocates (NOVA) which means that I am accredited to represent veterans during the veterans disability appeals process. As a NOVA member, my clients will charged the fees authorized by the VA for representing veterans.
Whether you have already filed, had your application denied and are seeking an appeal, or are not sure whether to file in the first place, I will provide you an honest assessment of your likelihood of receiving veterans disability compensation. Often, my clients are unaware of what benefits that they are eligible for because it varies depending on the type of disability. I routinely work with veterans who are suffering physical or mental problems including post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The most critical aspects are proving that the disability occurred because of service and that it was reported in service so that is appears on your service record.
I have been working on veterans' disability cases since 1991. I feel a strong connection to veterans issues having personally been a member of the New Jersey Army National Guard from 1971-1977.
